This project is the brainchild of Ben Childs of Sonic Boom Six, No Name Ska Band and Killbillies. Ben Childs is also the co-host and co-producer of 561 Music Podcast.
The point of this project is to bring people together in the grand ska tradition of unity and make music and joy. Many of the people in this band have criss crossed the world making friends so it seemed appropriate to Ben to use this network of people he has met through music over the years to create something beautiful.
Boom Beat Your Heart is a song that Ben wrote about the endless capacity for love that his wife Christie has for her family, friends, neighbors and even people she doesn't know. Something he finds very beautiful in her.

Deader Than Dead is a rocksteady tune that draws from early Jamaican music but puts a unique spin on it with the verses by David McWane speaking to those dissaffected people who may be a danger to themselves and others. While acknowledging that life is hard and confusing the song also says that violence is never the answer. One love!
